Under the overall supervision of the Senior Migration Data Programme Coordinator and direct supervision of the Senior DTM Operations Associate; the successful candidate will be responsible for the following activities in accordance with IOM procedures and guidelines. The incumbent will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Supervise field staff adherence to agreed SOPs on data collection and deadlines, in line with IOM MPM guidelines for the assigned provinces of responsibility.
- Develop a monthly plan, in coordination with the Field Coordinator, to cover all sites within the geographical scope of work.
- Conduct field visits and contribute to submitting reports on the quality of data received from field staff; submit these reports to the Project Assistants and Programme Officer.
- Accompany field teams in case of emergency missions to ensure tasks are completed on time.
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry by field staff and address any inconsistencies or issues as needed.
- Ensure quality control and make necessary corrections to the data collected, in close coordination with the IM team.
- Review and process data into simple forms in accordance with instructions and guidelines received.
- Report daily on data processing activities to the MPM Programme Officer and provide relevant recommendations.
- Participate in the revision of tools and the training of enumerators, when needed.
- Ensure proper archiving/saving of collected data and proper maintenance of field equipment in line with established procedures.
- Perform other tasks as may be assigned by the MPM Programme Officer.

- School diploma with four years of relevant experience; or,
- Bachelorโs degree in Political or Social Sciences, International Relations, Development Studies, Migration Studies, Human Rights, Law or related fields from an accredited academic institution with two years of relevant professional experience. Experience
- Experience in working with migrants, refugees, internally displaced persons, victims of trafficking and other vulnerable groups; and,
- Prior work experience with international humanitarian organizations, non-government or government institutions/organization in a multi-cultural setting is an advantage.
- Background in field coordination, analysis, and reporting.
- Familiarity with mobile data collection technologies and GPS an advantage Skills
- Ability to verify, clean and process data
- Computer knowledge use including Microsoft Office, Access, Google Earth and ability to use internet and email.ย
- Knowledge of Open Data Kit (ODK) applications and use of PDAs
- Good knowledge of the geography of Turkey Languages
