Generic responsibilities
Line management of Digital Officers and Assistants in the Nile area office. Ensuring the successful implementation of data systems, digital tools, and reporting mechanisms across Core Competencies (CCs).ย The Digital Coordinator will lead all digital initiatives within the Nile Area Office,ย With strong leadership, data expertise, and product development skills, the coordinator will play a pivotal role in driving digital transformation to enhance program efficiency, accountability, and impact. Ensure capacity building of project staff and transfer key skills as needed. Adherence to NRC policies, guidelines, procedures and awareness of NRC global and regional strategiesย Specific responsibilitiesย
Digital Systems Leadership Oversee the development, deployment, and management of digital systems, including the ESPO CRM database, Power BI dashboards, and e-voucher integrations. Collaborate with CC leads to design and implement workflows that improve data management and operational efficiency. Ensure alignment of digital tools with NRCโs national digital strategy and area office program needs. Data Management and Analysis Ensure accurate, secure, and compliant data collection, storage, and reporting processes. Analyse program data to identify trends, improve decision-making, and support reporting to donors and stakeholders. Develop and maintain high-quality dashboards and reporting templates for monitoring program performance. Capacity Building and Support Provide training to staff on digital tools, data systems, and workflows. Offer technical support to Core Competency teams and field staff to troubleshoot digital tools and systems. Develop user guides, training materials, and onboarding sessions for digital tools. Coordination and Collaboration Act as the primary focal point for all digital activities in the Nile Area Office. Coordinate with the Digital Programmes Unit and external developers to design and improve digital tools. Liaise with CC leads to ensure digital initiatives meet the unique needs of their programs. Monitoring and Evaluation Regularly review digital system performance and user feedback to improve efficiency and functionality. Prepare analytical reports on program outcomes and digital tool usage for the Area Office and Country Office leadership.Professional competenciesย
