Your team
Within the Aviation Transformation Directorate, the \"Aviation Intelligence Unit\" (AIU) is responsible for providing advice to the Director General and the Director ATD on all matters relating to EUROCONTROL's data and analytical insights.
As a Digital Content Assistant, you will review data products and documents of the Aviation Intelligence Unit (AIU) to ensure clarity, coherence, and accuracy prior to publication or industrialisation.
You will provide support to the Aviation Intelligence Unit by assisting in visual content creation and data preparation. You will review the visual elements for the AIU products to ensure that they are informative, interactive where necessary and engaging for the target audience, ensuring consistent application of graphic elements (e.g. layout, design, etc.) across AIU products. You will also support the production and processing of stakeholder surveys on AIU products and services.

Your role will be to:
- Support the creation of dashboards, reports and data summaries under the guidance of more senior team members.
Required qualifications, experience & competencies
Candidates must fulfil one of the following requirements: Post-secondary education meeting EQF Level 5 or higher plus minimum 4 years of relevant working experience; Completed third level studies meeting EQF Level 6 or higher (Bachelorโs degree or equivalent) plus minimum 2 year of relevant working experience; Completed third level studies meeting EQF Level 7 or higher (Masterโs degree or equivalent) plus minimum 1 year of relevant professional experience.Refer to the European Qualifications Framework (EQF) Experience developing infographics and adapting data-driven visuals for a general audience. Experience in reviewing and editing technical documentation (EN). Technical drafting skills (EN). Proficient user of Microsoft 365 (e.g. Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word). Graphic design skills, with the ability to translate key message through infographics. Experience with design tools (e.g. Adobe Creative Cloud Package or similar).
The following would be considered an asset:
Experience with online markup languages HTML/CSS. Experience with online data/mapping visualisation tools (e.g. Flourish, Datawrapper, Google Charts, Observable, etc). General knowledge of European aviation / Air Traffic Management (ATM) would be an asset. Creativity and innovation: You apply new approaches.
