5 Steps to get a job in the United Nations

Mission and objectivesUN Women, grounded in the vision of equality enshrined in the Charter of the United Nations, works for the elimination of discrimination against women and girls; the empowerment of women; and the achievement of equality between women and men as partners and beneficiaries of development, human rights, humanitarian action and peace, and security.

ContextTo enhance the visibility and use of gender data, the Regional Office for the Arab States (ROAS) plans to produce three evidence-based infographics by the end of 2025. These infographics will transform analytical findings into accessible visual products that communicate key messages on gender equality, womenโ€™s leadership, and emerging issues in humanitarian and development settings. The infographics will adhere to UN Womenโ€™s regional branding and visual identity standards, ensuring a professional and consistent presentation across platforms. UN Women seeks to find an online volunteer with expertise in visual communication and data storytelling to lead the design, production, and finalization of these three infographics. The online volunteer will report to the Regional Programme Specialist on Evidence for Programming.
