Data Entry Support Officer

The Data Entry Support Officer will work to support Objective 2 and under the supervision of the EQHA’s Quality Improvement (QI) Manager in close collaboration with the MEL team. With support from QI Coordinators, s/he will support in data collection, data entry, data validation, and clean of donor indicators and program indicators. S/he will work closely and collaboratively with the QI coordinators, QI managers, and monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL), and collaborate with health providers at the sub-national level for the clarification of the errors of data.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND CONTRIBUTIONS:

Technical Requirements:

• Support QI coordinators, QI managers, and MEL in data collection and data entry for different health topics including TB, MCH, FP, and HIV/AIDS.
• Communicate with all related facilities at the sub-national level, OD and PHD for the data collection, validation and clarification.
• Collect data from health facilities on QI indicators:
  • TB symptomatic screening.
  • sputum collection.
  • delivery women received uterotonic.
  • Verify, clarify and fix data errors.
  • Join Data Quality Assurance visits with MEL team to ensure quality of data collected from field.
  • Enter data into the project’s Internal Database Management System (IDMS).
  • Support objective 2 to entry data from the private sectors, and the five extended EQHA sites.
    • Support Objective 2’s documentation by working with the QI manager and QI Coordinators.
    • Ensure objective 2’s dashboards contain correct and completed data at the end of each cycle by working closely with MEL team.
    • Ensure data is available for quarterly and annual report on time with quality and accuracy.
    • Work with QI manager, QI coordinators, and QI Technical Advisor to provide justification on data discrepancies and/or underachieving/overachieving of the target.
    • Perform any other jobs as requested by the senior management team, or the Chief of party (COP), or Deputy Chief of Party (DCOP).
    • Willing to learn on the job.

            • Bachelor's Degree in Administrative, Public Health, Healthcare Management, and/or any other relevant fields.
            • At least 2 years work experienced in the field of administration, healthcare, quality assurance, quality improvement, or in a relevant job which required project administrative responsibilities.
            • Capacity building, offering feedback, coaching and mentoring skills.
            • Data management, facilitation and presentation skills.
            • Coordination and Interpersonal Communication skills.
            • Good attention to detail skill.
              • Demonstrated proficiency with using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint); willingness, interest, and ability to learn new things/skills as required.
              • Ability to be proactive, innovative, positive, and highly self-motivated.
              • Ability to work well with others and to develop and maintain positive working relationships that get results among project staff, sub-awardee, and stakeholders.
              • Ability to take initiative and ownership, make the decision, work proactively and independently, manage activities, set realistic priorities and plan for the successful implementation of programs.
              • Adaptable and flexible in a variety of tasks contributing to work even outside of JD as required.
              • Well-developed written and oral communication skills in Khmer and English.
