ย Context
IOM operates Five Accommodation Centers for Unaccompanied Minors (Shelters) providing accommodation and access to services for Unaccompanied Migrant Children (UMC). Besides accommodation, the following services are provided to the beneficiaries: addressing basic needs, catering, hygiene, legal counselling, and information about life opportunities in Greece, interpretation, psychosocial support, medical support, Greek learning programs, learning support, organization of intercultural activities, work and career guidance.

Ilion\" with MIS Code 6016488 the Program โGreece Programme - Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund 2021-2027โ, under the overall supervision of the Project Coordinator or his/her ย designate and the direct supervision of the Shelter Coordinator, the successful candidate will support in the planning and preparation of meals in the assigned Accommodation Center.
- Prepare and cook of meals (group and individual).
- Ensure the cleanliness of theย kitchen space and equipment.
- Record the kitchen's supplies and shortages in consumable materials and tools and submit the required report to the Shelter Coordinator.ย
- Prepare a weeklyย menu program and individual programs in collaboration with the Shelter coordinator and under the supervision of a nutritionist or a competent doctor.ย
- Train the beneficiaries in the preparation of meals.
- Perform such other duties as may be assigned. Education
- Certificate of relevant professional experience or certification or certified training;ย
- Updated and valid health certificate and successful examinations for food handlers, are mandatory.Accredited Universities are those listed in the UNESCO World Higher Education Database.ย Experience
- Existence of experience in a similar role;
- Willingness to work in morning shift, including holidays and weekends;
- Experience working with children and/or vulnerable population preferred;
- Previous experience working in a multi-cultural environment preferred;Skills

For this position, fluency in Greek is required (oral and written).
