International Water Management Institute (IWMI) on behalf of Global Water Partnership - South Asia (GWP-SAS) seeks applications from suitably qualified candidates for an assignment under the project titled \"Sri Lanka Green Climate Fund (GCF) Readiness Project\".
Background
The Global Water Partnership Organization is currently serving as a Delivery Partner for implementation of Green Climate Fund (GCF) Readiness projects in 5 countries: Zambia, Somalia, Sri Lanka, Eswatini, Central African Republic. In these countries, GWPO works closely with the GCF National Designated Authorities (NDA) to implement these Readiness projects.
GWP South Asia Regional Water Partnership (GWP SAS), located in Colombo, Sri Lanka and hosted by the International Water Management Institute (IWMI), currently coordinates several country-driven water & climate resilience activities in Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. In Sri Lanka, GWP South Asia RWP will play a central role in executing several projects namely, Global Water Leadership Project and Water Storage Project in addition to the GCF Second Readiness Project and other Programmes.
Scope of Work
The consultant will have a two-fold responsibility of providing support to the SL GCF Second Readiness Project and to other programmatic areas of GWP-SAS.
GCF Readiness Project Management Support
Duration: 12 months (full time)

Requirements
Interested applicants are required to have the following qualifications and experiences at minimum:
At least a combined 10 years\u2019 experience in the field of the project management, coordination, concept note developments, monitoring and evaluation, Post graduate level qualifications is preferable, in development studies, economics, environmental sciences, climate sciences, sustainable development, water management or related field, Familiarity with GCF Readiness and Preparatory Support Program Guidebook a must, Experience with the GWP Network is not required but desirable Good track record on designing and implementing capacity building workshops, Demonstrated experience on facilitating multistakeholder engagement and partnership development, Fluency in English. (Speaking, writing, and reading). Knowledge of Sinhala or Tamil is desirable, Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to coordinate and manage multiple tasks, Excellent analytical and writing skills.The candidate must be:

Well versed in using remote working applications such as Zoom and MS Teams. Flexibility, creativity, and effectiveness in working collaboratively in a multi-cultural team environment.
