Above listed tasks successfully delivered in a comprehensive, quality driven and timely manner, including satisfactory acceptance by the Officer-in-Charge, Head of the Knowledge and Risk Unit. Objective To reconcile and harmonize the terms green chemistry, sustainable chemistry, and green & sustainable chemistry by developing a coherent framework that aligns with leading international definitions and strategies (OECD, UNEP, EU, and national frameworks), thereby ensuring conceptual clarity and consistency across science, policy, and industry and to establish a compendium of private sector policies and other initiatives in the Global Framework on Chemicals sectors: food and agriculture, textiles, electronics, building and construction, and healthcare. Qualifications/special skillsMasterโs degree or equivalent in a field related to chemistry, environment/natural sciences, environmental engineering, law or environmental governance. A first-level university degree in combination with qualifying' experience (2 additional years) may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree. โข Minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience in the environmental, chemical, or sustainability sectors, including sound management of chemicals, chemical processes, and waste. โข Demonstrated expertise in green chemistry, sustainable chemistry, or related fields, with experience in integrating technical and policy perspectives. โข Excellent analytical, communication, and writing skills, with the ability to synthesize complex concepts for diverse audiences.
