Project Context and Scope
ย The successful candidate will be responsible for providing assistance to victims of trafficking, vulnerable migrants, and those at risk of trafficking. The candidate will support the implementation of Direct Assistance services (DA), verifying that timely financial aid, administrative support, and coordination with case workers are provided to deliver critical services to those in need.. The consultant is expected to carry out his/her duties in accordance with strictest moral and ethical standards and with due respect for gender and socio-cultural differences of the migrants.

ย PxD (Direct Assistance/Intake and Registration) Tasks to be performed under this contract ย
- Assist in facilitating the financial assistance provision to migrants eligible for the direct assistance (DA) services.
- Support in the preparation of supporting documents for procurement- related expenses associated with the DAโs cash-based interventions (letters, purchase requisitions, payment requests, etc.) and to reimburse all eligible costs to beneficiaries.
- Provide support to IOM Migrant Assistance Advisors in prioritizing urgent direct assistance cases, and to liaise with migrants to monitor the timely delivery of assistance.
- Collaborate closely with direct assistance case workers to coordinate financial assistance appointments and advise on the availability of financial assistance, particularly for urgent cases.
- Support the supervisor in establishing a mechanism for comprehensive and appropriate data collection and management for all provided Financial Assistance.
- Verify the accuracy in managing all migrants' paperwork, financial assistance, and receipts.
- Follow and adhere to organizational rules while assisting in the process of handling petty cash accounts and monitor the timely settlement of cash advances for Direct Assistance payments.
- Provide support in administrative tasks (filing, photocopying, scanning, managing office supplies, etc.)
- Maintain and promote the confidentiality and integrity of all relevant paperwork in line with standards of conduct and data protection rules.
- Verify that data records are accurately updated on daily basis.

- Bachelorโs degree in a in a community work related field from an accredited academic institution with minimum from 1 โ 2 years of experience in the humanitarian field.
- Experience in working with governmental and diplomatic authorities as well as with international organizations is an advantage.
- Excellent knowledge in word processing and typing skills in English and Arabic;
- Experience working with Excel and databases.
- Thorough working knowledge of English and Arabic, both spoken and written ย ย Languages
- Arabic and English ย ย Travel required
