NORCAP is looking for experts to join its CashCap specialized project. This is the right opportunity for you ifย 

Build strategic alliances with other key actors internally and externally to advocate for cashย and markets-basedย programming and ensure continuity of advocacy efforts. ย Engage actively in multi-sectorial responses, and facilitate capacity building of implementing partners and national authorities. ย Develop and/or deliver training modules, information, education and communication materials specific to the context and culture as required, and conduct training as required. ย Contribute to the development of policies, technical guidelines, advise and support project planning, design and implementation, considering local context, and available technologies. ย Ensure monitoring mechanisms are in place and ensure data collection and reporting are carried out systematically. ย Include considerations of long-term sustainable solutions in all phases of planning and implementation. ย 

Skills and Capabilitiesย ย 

Candidates will be assessed according to theย CashCapย Programmeย Capability frameworkย based on core CVA technical experience, interpersonal skills and personal qualities.

Qualifications/Education level/Language levelย 

Minimum 7 years of professional humanitarian experienceWorking knowledge of English; proficiency in other languages is an advantage (please indicate all languages you have a working level proficiency in)

Proven CVA technical experienceย inย 

Strategic planning and decision-makingย Programme design & qualityย Operational deliveryย ย Capacity development, including trainingย and facilitation techniquesย 

Interpersonal skillsย 

Proven experience in developing and maintaining collaborative relationshipsย with a diverse range of stakeholders, influencing and advocacyย Demonstrates effective communication and interpersonal skills, including representation, reporting, and information disseminationย 

Personal qualities:ย 

Ability to work in stressful situations and contextsย Creative and analytical thinkerย 

Highly Desirable:ย ย 

Demonstrable experience working with the Red Cross/Red Crescent SocietiesOperational experience with orย academicย background in one of these areas: adaptive social protection and integration points with humanitarian CVA; DRR/cash preparedness; digital payments/data interoperability
