WFP offers a competitive benefits package including salary, for SC5 level starting from THB 56,808, Social Security, leave and medical insurance.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (not all-inclusive, nor exhaustive):
Perform, under minimal supervision, and proceed a variety of administrative duties (e.g. leave recording, meeting organization, reservations, office supply and equipment orders, etc.), including preparing and/or processing administrative requests/documents (e.g., travel requests, expense claims, visa applications, etc.) for members in the Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific
Collate information for inclusion in reports, documents and correspondence, to support the effective work of other staff.
Respond to standard queries and provide timely and accurate guidance.
Maintains liaison with the Management and members of the Regional Office as well as Senior officials in other units regarding on-going activities and other administrative matters; monitors processes and schedules related to the officeโs activities and tasks, etc.
Ensure smooth and efficient information flow within the office; prepares and processes confidential information; assists in the development of office administrative systems and procedures.
Provide assistance in the coordination of relevant activities, meetings, training, and events.
Process and manage routine administrative and financial tasks in various functional areas, to contribute to the effective and timely management of resources.
Draft correspondence and reports, as required, on general administrative or specialized tasks which may be of a confidential nature within the assigned area of responsibility.
Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCES:
EDUCATION: Completion of secondary school education. A post-secondary certificate in the related functional area and preferably supplemented by a university degree.
EXPERIENCE:
Five or more years of progressively responsible work experience in the relative business stream with
experience in general administrative work for Executives.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Knowledge of specialised common business practices and methods, gained through relevant technical training and experience.
Proficient in the use of office equipment and computer software packages such as Microsoft Offices and telecommunication system.
Strong prioritization, time management, organizational skills with self-awareness and able to work well under pressures or unexpected circumstances.
Ability to develop and maintain relationships with a range of individuals, people with different backgrounds and cultures to provide a high-quality support service.
Ability to carry out basic data analysis and work independently rectify problems requiring attention on details and quality.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Good communication skills required to give and receive information and work with a variety of individuals including high-level.
LANGUAGE: Fluent and accuracy in both oral and written communications in English and Thai.
