The National Zero Hunger Strategic Review (NSR) recommendation has stimulated the necessary partnerships to achieve SDG 2, fostering coordination among the Government of Armenia, donor community, beneficiaries, United Nations agencies, civil society, private sector and the Diaspora. WFP Armenia will pursue strategic partnerships, communication and external advocacy efforts with national and international stakeholders aiming to achieve full implementation of its five-years Country Strategic Plan (CSP) for 2019-2024. Currently, WFP Armenia is focused on raising awareness of French-supported initiatives aimed at improving food security in Armenia. These initiatives include enhancing irrigation systems, promoting modern agricultural practices, and advancing transformative school feeding efforts. To achieve this, the Business Support Assistant will play a key role in preparing daily communication activities designed to raise awareness about the French government's support for WFP. These responsibilities include producing compelling appeals, creating engaging visual content, crafting success stories, and fostering communication with audiences. Special attention will be given to identifying and connecting with French communities and channels to amplify awareness about France's support for Armenia.

Under the overall guidance of the Country Director, the Business Support Assistant (Communications) will report directly to the Communications Officer, ensuring strategic alignment and effective execution of communication efforts.
