Your team
Within the The European Green Sky Directorate, the Master Plan & Architecture team supports European aviation in making strategic decisions for the transformation of ATM. We operate in close collaboration with all ATM stakeholders (SJU, air navigation service providers, airports, airspace users, the Network Manager, SDM, airborne and ground industry, EASA, and standardisation organisations etc). We leverage EUROCONTROL resources (expertise, data and technology) to support decision makers in the strategic transformation of ATM (digitalisation, sustainability, drones, civil/military, CNS, artificial intelligence, etc.) and prioritise future investments.

Your role
Your role will be to:
- Maintain the short, medium and long-term evolution of ATM performance in Europe by integrating Research and Innovation (R&I) project outcomes into a consolidated view, focussing on performance aspects and developing gap analyses of the solutions in the SESAR portfolio relative to the identified strategic ATM performance needs.
Required qualifications, experience & competencies
Completed university studies of four years (e.g. Masterโs degree) in a relevant area (e.g. Engineering, Operations Research, Mathematics). A minimum of 5 yearsโ relevant professional experience to perform the advertised responsibilities. Experience in performing ATM performance assessments. Experience in performance management and data analysis related to European ATM. Experience in statistical data analysis (e.g. modelling, reporting). Experience in the use of statistical and data visualisation tools. The following would be an advantage: Experience in applying the SESAR performance framework and performance assessment. Understanding of relevant ATM operational concepts and SESAR Solutions. Experience in preparing, conducting and analysing complex fast-time simulations. Experience in CBAs and economics (Technical) drafting skills in English. Effective presentation skills. Ability to present/communicate technical information to diverse audiences, including technical experts, (senior) managers, stakeholders, etc. Problem Solving: You anticipate and solve business problems.
