As part of the Bank's federated data analytics operating model, we're seeking an analytical Associate who is passionate about the intersection of people data, technology, and business impact. You'll be instrumental in two major transformations: our enterprise-wide analytics evolution and our HR systems modernisation journey, which includes the implementation of SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), and Microsoft Fabric.
Accountabilities & Responsibilities
Accountabilities and responsibilities for this role are to be carried out with a strong degree of independence, with supervision by the Principal, People Data & Analytics:
Design, build & deliver analytics products
Partner with HR stakeholders to design, implement, and maintain data visualisations that drive effective decision-making and business outcomes. Provide specialised analytical support for the Microsoft Fabric rollout, including configuring workspaces, datasets, and integration points with HR systems. Work closely with IT Data & Analytics team, HR Transformation team, and People Analytics Data Engineer to ensure data architecture aligns with dashboard requirements and business needs. Support the migration, and maintenance of People Analytics dashboards across multiple visualisation platforms including Tableau, Power BI, and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC). Help establish and maintain data quality standards, validation procedures, and governance protocols across people-related datasets. Lead UAT processes for dashboard implementations, ensuring deliverables meet business requirements before deployment. Conduct regular design reviews with end users to gather feedback and iteratively enhance dashboard relevance, usability, and impact. Contribute to business-as-usual People Data and Analytics activities. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data models, calculation methodologies, and dashboard functionality to ensure knowledge transfer and sustainability.
Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Qualifications
Essential
Undergraduate degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Analytics, Statistics, or related quantitative field, or equivalent professional experience. 3-5 years of progressive experience in data analytics, preferably in HR analytics, workforce planning, or people-focused business intelligence. Advanced proficiency in SQL Management Studio. Microsoft Fabric expertise, especially focused on Power BI development but also including Data Factory, Dataflow Gen2 and data pipeline creation. Demonstrated ability to design and implement data models that support business requirements. A strong analytical orientation coupled with string data manipulation skills to be able to: (i) understand how individual pieces of data relate and influence one another (ii) hypothesise and test patterns from data statistically. Strong stakeholder engagement skills with senior management specifically: (i) effective questioning and active listening skills (ii) the ability to challenge constructively to determine business requirements. Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy. Strong documentation practices for analytics solutions. Proven track record of delivering high-profile analytics projects under tight deadlines. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferable
Experience with Tableau, Alteryx, Tableau Prep. Hands-on experience with SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC). Knowledge of data visualisation best practices and dashboard design principles. Experience with ETL processes and data transformation workflows. Understanding of HR data structures, key metrics, and reporting requirements. Experience supporting HR system migrations or implementations. Experience supporting technology implementations or large-scale transformation projects. Prior involvement in technology implementation projects. Change management experience related to analytics adoption. Experience working in agile development environments.
