WASH in Schools (WINS) Project Manager

Plan International Pacific is seeking to hire a full time WASH in Schools (WINS) Project Manage in Solomon Island/Honiara. He or she will be responsible for leading Plan Internationalโs implementation of the ADB/Solomon Water WASH in Schools project. The role is responsible for leading the coordinating and implementation of PISIโs work plan and related projectโs activities in Honiara City Council area and include leadership and oversight of two staff (WinS Engineer and WinS Coordinator).
The position will be managed by the Plan Solomon Islands Program Unit Director. He/ She will also be required to work closely with the Plan Australia Senior WASH Advisor who is the responsible Team Leader for the project. The role reports to Plan International Country Programme Manager โ Solomon Islands.
Do you have what it takes to be successful in this role?
Technical
Bachelors Degree, Masters or equivalent in WASH, Construction or other relevant social science fields; along with relevant and quality work experience (>7) years of experience Experience with WASH methodologies such as UNICEF 3-Star School standards, WASH in Schools, Water Safety Planning and/or WASH Construction. Demonstrated skills and experience in coordinating, training, facilitating and capacity building of organisational staff, partners and community members and/or community-based organisations. Experience with budget monitoring, procurement and narrative reporting of projects in English Knowledge of the use of word, Excel and PowerPoint
