The Surge & Admin Coordinator is a key member of CARE's global humanitarian team reporting to the Sr. Director, Humanitarian Response and Coordination S/he acts as the main focal point and coordinator for surge deployments during an emergency response that CARE's Country Presences are responding to.
S/he is responsible to ensure that the most appropriate personnel from CARE's RRT, Humanitarian Core Team and Roster of deployable team members and consultants is deployed to the Country Presence in a timely manner. S/he coordinates between the different CARE entities provide centralized support for the administrative management of deployed personnel, including cost recovery, payments, per diem, lodging, visa and travel and works to streamline and improve CARE's administrative support systems.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate surge deployments for CARE's humanitarian responses\\ Facilitate and streamline administrative steps for deployments Maintain and expand the CARE RED roster Streamline and improve humanitarian administration support

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent combination of education and work experience 5 plus years of managing emergency surge deployments or an equivalent Roster Systems Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills Strong negotiation and coordination skills Knowledge and experience with financial and administrative aspects of personnel managment
