ContextWPRO (World Health Organization Regional Office for the Western Pacific) is strengthening risk communication campaigns through various evidence-generation methods like rapid surveys, message testing to inform design. This data creates an essential evidence-base that guides the decision-making processes and needs to be documented. This will further shape effective health communication strategies in the Region.
Task DescriptionSupport drafting of academic publications for emergencies in the Western Pacific Region We are looking for Online Volunteers who will support us under the guidance of Technical Officer, Risk Communication, by drafting four academic publications to document the work of emergency response teams. Each volunteer will be assigned to review the project reports, powerpoints and other data sources to draft 2000-word publications. The WHO style guide will be provided to successful candidates. In particular, the Online Volunteers are asked to support in drafting of: - Article on Dengue response in Lao PDR (2000 words); - Article on Dengue response in Philippines (2000 words); - Article on Dengue response in Tonga (2000 words); - Article on Dengue response in Malaysia (2000 words).
