ContextDigital engagement is increasingly playing a crucial role in UNDP’s response to global shifts in the fields of communication, resource mobilization, advocacy, and development. Effective use of the various digital channels helps communicate UNDP’s key messages through relevant content, interactive experiences, and dialogue. This allows individuals to connect with our work directly, thus creating valuable relationships with online and offline users. By creating shareable and compelling visual content, UNDP Egypt aims to strengthen engagement through its digital platforms to help position UNDP as a thought leader, expand outreach and broaden engagement.
Task DescriptionWe are looking for 3 Online Volunteers who under the guidance of UNDP Egypt Communication Analyst and in close collaboration with the communications team support us by creating social media content for UNDP Egypt focus areas and projects. In particular, the Online Volunteer is asked to: -Collect information on document/material background such as target audience, branding guidelines, key messages etc.; - - Create 45 social media content (adjusted for each platform -X, FB, LinkedIn, Instagram) based on requirements and discuss with focal point/ communications team; - Develop content according to agreed requirements. Content should follow our key messages and guidelines which will be shared with the Online Volunteer in advance. The Online Volunteers will have the opportunity to build connections with the Communication Team at UNDP Egypt and learn about the ways in which digital communication can support sustainable development.
