UNDP provides technical assistance within the framework of the UN Development Assistance Framework (UNDAF) which is fully aligned with Liberiaโs National development Agenda. What we do UNDP supports Liberia's national development agenda and works closely with national institutions and local communities to promote, advocate and contribute to good governance, peace and security. Our work focuses on engendering national initiatives and strategies that help facilitate long-term development transformation in the lives of the people of Liberia. We offer global perspectives, complementary support and ideas on strategic development projects and capacity building in continued efforts to promote and protect human rights and improve environmental management. The end result of this transformation would be a country that is characterized by peaceful and inclusive politics and diversified economy, stable institutions, enforces the laws fairly, land tenure problems have been resolved, natural resources are efficiently managed and health and education standards have reached those of other middle income countries.
ContextIn commemoration of World Environment Day, we are seeking 10 Online Volunteers to support a high-impact digital campaign focused on raising awareness about plastic waste pollution. Under the guidance of the UNDP Environmental Team and in close collaboration with the Communications Team, selected volunteers will create social media graphics (social cards & reels) that align with UNDP's branding and advocacy goals.
Task DescriptionWe are looking for ten (10) Online Volunteers to support us by producing social cards of graphic designs with messages on Plastic Waste pollution in commemoration of World environmental Day Campaign. Key Responsibilities of Each Online Volunteer: โข Review materials and documents provided by the UNDP team, including branding guidelines, target audience profiles, and campaign messages. โข Design social media cards (static and animated) for platforms like Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn. โข Produce short-form video content (reels) using campaign messages, footage, and animations. โข Collaborate with the communications team to ensure alignment with branding and messaging. โข Adapt content for different formats and audiences (e.g., youth, policymakers, community groups). โข Ensure all content is optimized for mobile and social media engagement. โข Deliver final assets in editable and publish-ready formats. โข Create initial draft designs based on the brief. โข Engage in feedback discussions with the Communications Team and revise accordingly. โข Submit final designs in required formats, fully aligned with the campaignโs visual identity and messaging. Timeline: Volunteer support is expected throughout the weeks leading up to World Environment Day (June 5, 2025). Half of the cards/reels should be ready before June 5 and the remaining during the following week. Timeline:
