5 Steps to get a job in the United Nations

Since its creation in 1951, the IOM (International Organisation for Migration) has been the United Nations agency responsible for managing migration. It works closely with governmental, intergovernmental and non-governmental partners to promote humane and orderly migration for the benefit of all. The IOM provides services and advice to governments and migrants alike.

In the North-West and South-West regions of Cameroon, IOM is actively involved in assisting people displaced by the ongoing conflict. In response to the escalating security situation in these regions, which has led to massive displacement and precarious living conditions for many families, IOM has stepped up its efforts to provide emergency humanitarian aid. Similarly, to support the government's efforts in the sustainable management of this crisis, the IOM, in collaboration with the National Committee for Disarmament, Demobilization, and Reintegration (NDDRC), has conducted studies as part of the assessment of the operational space within the framework of the Disengagement, Dissociation, Reintegration, and Reconciliation (DDRR) program.ย
