Our play-centred program, Play2Learn, is one of our most successful and longstanding programs across Australia, helping families and young children learn to play, socialise and establish routine. We need you to join our team in NSW and VIC, working closely with parents, caregivers and their children to help enable a smooth transition into the next phase of early learning.

In this permanent full time (38 hours per week) position, youโ€™ll be a key member of our Play2Learn team based in either NSW or VIC, working across both states and will report to our Team Leader.

You will make a difference by:

ยท Leading highโ€‘quality program planning and implementation to ensure effective service delivery

ยท Coaching, training and developing team members to build capability and support consistently strong practice.

ยท Building and maintaining key operational stakeholder relationships essential to program success.

ยท Overseeing staff caseloads, program logistics, monitoring and evaluation, risk management and child safeguarding

ยท Flexibility to work across locations, with regular travel to P2L delivery sites across NSW and VIC

ยท Strong knowledge, understanding and experience working with children and families

ยท Demonstrated capability in applying traumaโ€‘informed practice

ยท Ability to build strong relationships and work effectively with program stakeholders and community members

ยท Excellent communication skills, including clear report writing and documentation

ยท Proven ability to anticipate challenges, problemโ€‘solve and make sound decisions

ยท Strong organisational and timeโ€‘management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities

ยท Experience in program monitoring and evaluation to support continuous quality improvement

ยท Knowledge of child protection concerns and processes, with experience responding appropriately and in line with required frameworks

ยท Relevant qualifications in Social Work, Community Development or a related field, or significant equivalent experience
