Position Overview

This position will coordinate and support the team in project administration, workflows and deliverables within the Global Health Advocacy team, as the team supports and advocates for U.S. engagement with the World Health Organization.

The position terminates on March 31st, 2025.

This position is based in Washington, DC (Hybrid schedule).

Essential Functions

Schedule meetings, communicate with team members and others, share documents using office tools like Outlook, Excel, Sharepoint, Powerpoint, Canva, etc;Develop organizational systems and structures that will track content and other operational deliverables;Conduct research; Provide communications support including the design of materials, social media creation and posting, media monitoring and website maintenance;Other duties as assigned.Maintain working knowledge of the UNF agreement process (for both contracts and grants), and when to utilize the proper templates accordingly. (As applicable to the role)Draft and review agreements and maintain an understanding of all agreement terms and applicable flow-downs, consulting with UNF’s finance/contracts team as needed. (As applicable to the role)Attend training sessions provided by UNF’s contracts team to maintain and keep up to date with UNF’s current policies and procedures. (As applicable to the role)Maintain a strong knowledge of UNF’s Salesforce database to be able to process and track agreements, extract information and prepare reports. (As applicable to the role)Other duties as assigned.Selection Criteria College degree required; preferably in the fields of political science, international affairs, economics, or global health, and an advanced degree preferred.Minimum of 3-5 years of experienceStrong Communication skills, both written and oralDetail-oriented and efficientStrong organizational skillsAbility to prioritize multiple demands, anticipate needs, and solve problems.Ability to work under pressure and handle stress.Ability to meet regular attendance/tardiness policy.
