CIMMYT is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated, and service-oriented professional for the position of Regional Procurement and Fleet Analyst to be part of the team of the Business Service Department.
The position will be based at CIMMYT headquarters in Texcoco, State of Mexico, near Mexico City.
Specific duties:
Assist in the review and processing of procurement requests to ensure compliance with policies and procedures. Coordinate with RO procurement focal points to facilitate smooth execution of procurement transactions. Track and verify procurement activities, ensuring timely delivery and proper documentation of goods and services. Support the preparation of procurement reports, including key performance indicators, trends, and recommendations for improvements. Provide hands-on assistance in resolving procurement-related issues. Troubleshoot and resolve procurement App and Dynamics related issues in collaboration with IT and regional teams. Assist in monitoring fleet operations in ROs, ensuring compliance with organizational policies. Support the preparation and submission of fleet management reports. Maintain accurate and up-to-date fleet data in shared systems or the ERP platform. Provide operational support for vehicle acquisition, disposal, and replacement processes. Work closely with the Regional Coordinator to identify and address fleet-related risks or inefficiencies. Collect, analyze, and synthesize data related to procurement and fleet operations to inform decision-making. Prepare periodic reports summarizing key metrics, challenges, and opportunities for improvement. Assist in the deployment and operationalization of the ERP system related to procurement and fleet management. Act as a point of contact for operational queries from ROs regarding procurement and fleet. Foster collaborative relationships between HQ, ROs, and other business units to ensure seamless operations. Assist the Regional Coordinator in preparing documents, reports, and presentations as required. Provide administrative and logistical support for audits, training sessions, and other departmental activities.Requirements
Bachelorโs degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field. Advanced proficiency in English (C1 level), Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in procurement, fleet management, or operations support, preferably in an international organization. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Familiarity with ERP systems and data analysis tools. Knowledge of procurement and fleet management practices and compliance standards. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. High attention to detail and organizational capabilities. Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment.Benefits
