5 Steps to get a job in the United Nations

The Organisation

Plan International is an independent development and humanitarian organisation that advances childrenโ€™s rights and equality for girls. We believe in the power and potential of every child but know this is often suppressed by poverty, violence, exclusion and discrimination. And it is girls who are most affected.

Working together with children, young people, supporters and partners, we strive for a just world, tackling the root causes of the challenges girls and vulnerable children face. We support childrenโ€™s rights from birth until they reach adulthood and we enable children to prepare for and respond to crises and adversity. We drive changes in practice and policy at local, national and global levels using our reach, experience and knowledge.

For over 85 years, we have rallied other determined optimists to transform the lives of all children in more than 80 countries.

We wonโ€™t stop until we are all equal.

The Opportunity

The Global Fund GC 7 grant provides a three years funding for Community-Based Interventions (CDI) to fight against AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria through an integrated approach.

Plan International Cameroon will provide capacity development services to Civil Society Organizationโ€™s (CSOโ€™s) to follow up Community Health Workers (CHW) activities at community level. Project Unit at regional level will coordinate the implementation of the project and provide general guidance of Global Fund rules and procedures to all DCSOโ€™s participating in the implementation of the project. Under the guidance and direct supervision of the Chief of Party (CoP), the Regional Field supervisor (RFS) will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and timely implementation of activities regarding the national malaria response. The RFS is technically under the guidance of the CoP and administratively under the ERM. He / She works in collaboration with DCSOs, and other stakeholders, in the implementation of all Global Fund GC 7 sub project activities in the assigned region.
