IOM Brazil seeks to diversify and strengthen its fundraising efforts with both the public and private sectors. To this end, it is essential to consolidate strategies that expand institutional partnerships and engage key stakeholders, ensuring financial sustainability and the continuity of migration and durable solutions activities.ย ย
In this context, the Public & Private Sector Partnerships unit aims to facilitate the implementation of strategic fundraising initiatives, promote innovative collaborations, and strengthen IOMโs presence with governments and the private sector. The incumbent will support the identification of opportunities, the structuring of partnerships, and the monitoring of results, contributing to the achievement of institutional objectives and positive impact on migrant populations.ย
Under the overall supervision and direct supervision of the Head of Programme, the Public &ย Private Partnerships Coordinator is responsible for implementing activities related to PSP interventions at the national level, as well as providing support to field teams. The successful candidate will be responsible and accountable for the following:

- Support the identification and engagement of individual donors to support IOM programs.
- Contribute to the development of strategies for fundraising from individuals and small enterprises.
- Assist in the design, monitoring, and evaluation of pilot projects and innovation initiatives, ensuring alignment with institutional priorities.
- Support field teams in coordinating partnership activities, ensuring alignment with institutional priorities and operational plans.
- Contribute to the development of communication materials, presentations, and proposals for potential donors and partners.
- Maintain a database of partnerships, contacts, and relevant information to support informed decision-making and strategic planning.
- Stay informed about trends, opportunities, and challenges in the public and private sectors relevant to migration programming and provide inputs for strategic planning.
- Foster collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that IOMโs engagement with partners is transparent, effective, and aligned with institutional objectives.
- Support the analysis of private sector trends and innovation opportunities applicable to IOMโs activities.

- Demonstrated experience in fundraising campaigns and donor engagement.
- Understanding and experience with fundraising and building partnerships with the private sector;
- Experience in planning, implementing, and monitoring innovative or strategic projects.
- Proven ability to adapt to changing priorities and work collaboratively within a diverse team.
- Experienced in working cross-functionally and obtaining relevant content and information from different units to build innovative partnerships with public and private sector.
- At least three (3) years of experience in individual giving, fundraising, or donor relationship management. Skills

- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
- Ability to produce compelling communication materials and presentations.
- Ability to write, draft, and edit, reports, acknowledgements, briefings, and donor correspondence letters, proposals, grants and appeals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software. Languages

For this position, fluency in Portugues and advanced English is required (oral and written).
DESIRABLE
Working knowledge in Spanish is an advantage.
