Mission and objectivesIstanbul International Center for Private Sector in Development (IICPSD) supports the private sector and foundations to become transformative partners in development through research, advocacy for inclusive business, facilitation of public-private dialogue and brokering partnerships. IICPSD, established in 2011 in partnership with the Government of Turkey, is one of UNDP's six Global Policy Centres. It leads UNDPโs global work on private sector and foundations and supports UNDPโs offices all over the world. The Center focuses on four thematic areas: 1. Inclusive Business; 2. Private Sector Engagement in Skills Development; 3. Impact investing; 4. Resilience and Crisis Response. The Center also hosts four global initiatives: Business Call to Action, SDG Philanthropy Platform, Global Islamic Finance and Impact Investing Platform and Connecting Business Initiative.
ContextThe Tech Volunteers for Resilience (Tech4R) programme, jointly led by UNDP ICPSD and UNV, mobilizes skilled digital volunteers to co-create open-source tools that strengthen transparency, accountability, and resilience in governance systems. In collaboration with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Tech4R is developing a Digital Catalogue of Managed Assets โ an online platform that promotes transparency and public access to information on seized and managed properties. The Digital Catalogue of Managed Assets will serve as a public-facing online tool to increase transparency in asset management and strengthen institutional accountability. The project involves volunteer teams working on web development, data visualization, and interface design under UNODC and the Federal Asset Management Agencyโs guidance.
Task DescriptionVolunteers will contribute to the design, development, and delivery of a digital catalogue platform supporting transparency and accessible information management. Tasks will be implemented through agile sprints under Tech4R coordination. Key duties may include: โข Supporting the design and development of a web-based digital catalogue, including structure, navigation, and user workflows. โข Contributing to data visualization and layout design to present information in an accessible and user-friendly format. โข Ensuring that outputs align with institutional communication standards, accessibility considerations, and ethical data practices. โข Documenting technical steps, updates, and lessons learned to support sustainability and future replication. โข Providing feedback to improve usability, transparency, and overall user experience of the catalogue.
