JOB SUMMARY:

The Novartis US Foundation recently selected NIWL to manage its Beacon of Hope Coordinating Center. The Beacon of Hope (BOH) initiative is a 10-year commitment launched in 2021 to address disparities in health outcomes by increasing diversity in clinical trials and strengthening infrastructure at Historically Black Medical Schools (HBMSs). As the Coordinating Center, our work will involve management of the initiative, Center of Excellence (COE) oversight, program evaluation, communications, stakeholder engagement, clinical trials and community engagement capacity building and technical assistance.

The BOH Coordinating Center Project Manager position supports and manages core programmatic functions. This involves planning and executing project deliverables within strict deadlines and budget; coordination of cross-disciplinary team members in a matrixed environment; and collaboration with HBCUโ€™s, external partners, and our funders. The Project Manager will report to Beacon of Hope Coordinating Center Project Director and work collaboratively with FHI 360 staff implementing the initiative.
