The objective of the Centre is to provide trusted ICT services and digital business solutions to its Clients and Partner Organizations.
Background information:
Comprising of one of the largest groups of certified Prince2 and Agile project management experts and practitioners, UNICCโs Project and Programme Services offer clients with services ranging from light-touch project management, end-to-end project management, program management, and organizational change management.
Client stakeholders can expect budget transparency, timely realization of milestones, improved controls and reporting and compliance. Via deployment of shared resources to serve Clients and provide economies of scale, benefits include adherence to project best practices, processes, templates and development, maintenance and storage of project templates and/or project documentation.
The incumbent will integrate within the Project Portfolio Unit (DDPM) and will support UNICCโs deliverables under a Project Management consultant role.
Main duties and responsibilities:
Reporting to the Head, Project Portfolio Unit (DDPM), the incumbent will undertake the following duties and deliverables:
Under the guidance of the Head, DDPM, plan, execute and control projects, which are either internal or external to UNICC, or manage components of a large complex project which typically impact critical operations or multiple user groups Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget Coordinate changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate techniques Manage project issues and risks Identify and advise on project resources and track project costs Track and monitor project progress against plan, requirements, quality measures, standard processes and report performance using appropriate tools and techniques Create and maintain project management documents throughout the lifecycle of the project from Start Up to Closure Execute a proper Project Closure, including transition to operation, financial and lessons learnt Evaluate the outcomes of the project as established during the planning phase Following the unitโs best practicess, manage a complex project portfolio Under the guidance of the Head, DDPM, manage project delivery, informing and escalating critical project decisions to the appropriate senior members and stakeholders Collaborate with the technical lead(s) to develop the project plan Collaborate with the technical lead(s) to estimate project requirements Ensure effective coordination and communication with the project team Under the guidance of the Head, DDPM, ensure correct time and budget trackingRecruitment Profile
Experience and Skills required:
Essential:
At least fifteen (15) years of IT work experience Significant experience in managing IT projects (Agile/Scrum, Prince2/PMI) Experience in coordinating projects in a multi-cultural environment Experience in collaborating with remote teamsDesirable:
Knowledge on any of the following areas would be preferred:โ Office 365 and Exchange Messaging / Migration Services
โ Infrastructure, ERP Applications and Cloud Hosting / Migration services
โ Software Development, BlockChain, Automation (RPA), Data & Analytic, ServiceNow

Compensation:
Fee will be based either on the National Officer salary scales or the Individual Consultancy band levels (for Headquarters)
