Project Logo Design for UNDP Jordan

Mission and objectivesAnchored in the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and in line with the priorities outlined in the UNDP Strategic Plan, the Regional Bureau for Arab States (RBAS) supports the Arab States region to achieve sustainable development by eradicating poverty in all its forms and dimensions, accelerating structural transformations for sustainable development, and building resilience to crises and shocks. In addition to its presence in New York, RBAS has its main office in the Regional Hub based in Amman, Jordan with some staff based in Beirut (Lebanon) and Dubai (UAE). The Amman Regional Hub hosts regional initiatives under the Regional Programme for Arab States 2022-2025 which touches upon the following areas of work: governance and anti-corruption, regional cooperation for the reduction of poverty and inequality, knowledge economy, conflict prevention and peacebuilding, climate security, youth engagement and empowerment, gender equality, resilience building, among others.

SDG 14 – Life Below Water The project focuses on conserving and sustainably using marine ecosystems like coral reefs and coastal habitats. SDG 15 – Life on Land Through terrestrial conservation activities such as native plant restoration and habitat protection. SDG 12 – Responsible Consumption and Production Activities like the Paper Bag Initiative support reduced plastic use and promote sustainable practices. SDG 5 – Gender Equality By empowering women in eco-business and community-based conservation.

Task DescriptionWe are looking for 2 Online Volunteer/s who under the guidance of the Communications and Multimedia Officer at UNDP Jordan and in close collaboration with the communications team support us in designing the logo for EmBRACE Project (Enhancing Biodiversity and Resilience in Aqaba's Coastal Ecosystems). In particular, each Online Volunteer is asked to: - Conceptualize and develop a creative and professional logo that reflects the vision and objectives of the EmBRACE Project. - Provide at least three initial design options for review and feedback. - Refine and finalize the selected logo based on input from the UNDP communications team and project leads. - Deliver the final logo in multiple formats (including vector, PNG, and JPG), along with an editable source file (e.g., AI, PSD, or Canva). - Ensure the logo is adaptable for use across digital platforms, printed materials, and branded assets. UNDP Jordan will provide relevant background information, project visuals, and key messaging to support the design process. The Online Volunteer/s will gain experience by designing a logo that promotes the EmBRACE Project and supports UNDP’s environmental communications efforts.
