- Act as the focal point at Temporary Transit Centre.
- Support the Migrant Protection and Assistance Coordinator in the daily coordination of assistance and service delivery at the center.
- ย Support the preparation of a structured work plan for all planned activities.
- Facilitate coordination of physical operations, monitor material receipt, storage, and distribution, and track progress of field workersโ tasks.
- Assist with ย monitoring seasonal activities, including winterization and summarization efforts at the Temporary Transit Centre.
- Assist with the mobility of medical staff and transport of medical supplies, including vehicle maintenance and preparation of related documentation.
- Prepare status reports highlighting delivery gaps and escalate issues to the supervisor as needed.
- Draft various documents including correspondence, reports, briefing notes, presentations, graphics, and statistical tables.
- Respond to general inquiries and maintain organized filing and record-keeping systems.
- Perform other related duties as assigned. Education
- School diploma with four years of relevant experience; or,
- Bachelorโs degree in Political or Social Sciences, International Relations, Development Studies, Migration Studies, Human Rights, Law or related fields from an accredited academic institution with two years of relevant professional experience. - Experience in liaising with governmental authorities, national/international institutions, United Nations agencies and non-governmental organizations;
- Experience in working with migrants, refugees, internally displaced persons, victims of trafficking and other vulnerable groups; and
- Prior work experience with international humanitarian organizations, non-government or government institutions/organization in a multi-cultural setting is an advantage. Skills
- In depth knowledge of the broad range of migration related subject areas dealt with by the Organization; and,
- Ability to work in a multicultural and high-pressure environment.

- Fluency in English and Macedonian IOMโs official languages are English, French and Spanish.
