The opportunity
Provide updates on implementation areas, highlighting issues related to empowerment and protection. Contribute to the development of proposal budgets relevant to the area of economic empowerment, as necessary. Work closely with the PA manager and other staff and partners to ensure that activities are carried out in accordance with priorities and developed work plans. Work with partners to conduct inclusive community awareness activities and ensure that all beneficiaries have access to project-related information in an appropriate and relevant format. Prepare distribution plans and organize distributions (considering distribution points, scheduling, control and supervision, community participation, feedback mechanisms, PSEA and child protection), in coordination with the education officer and school authorities. Conduct regular field visits to affected areas to support monitoring activities (including teaching and learning-related activities) based on monitoring and evaluation (M&E) frameworks and logs. Support the PA officer in tracking project activities (through post-distribution monitoring, meetings, focus group discussions, interviews) and work with the M&E team to ensure proper collection, secure storage, and processing of disaggregated data by sex, age, and disability. Support the education team in developing IEC materials, as needed. Ensure the implementation of quality and accountability mechanisms and the monitoring and communication of key concerns related to economic empowerment and child protection. Support partners throughout the entire project cycle in planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting of project activities and results.
About you
University degree in Education, Social Sciences, or related fields. Experience in project implementation, community mobilization, humanitarian affairs, or related areas. Well-organized and demonstrates initiative in problem-solving and decision-making. Well-developed written and oral communication skills and the ability to communicate clearly and sensitively. This includes effective negotiation and representation skills and the ability to work comfortably with a wide range of stakeholders with different interests. Able to mobilize communities, confident speaking with people both in groups and individually, and excellent listening skills. Understanding of child safeguarding and equality, and demonstrates gender and diversity awareness and sensitivity. Willingness and availability to travel, including to remote areas, with flexibility. Good knowledge of the provincial context in which the tasks will be carried out is an advantage.
