Information Technology (IT) Department under support service division is responsible for setting up IT strategy, policy and governance, planning for both short- and long-term perspective, aligning to organizational strategy and growth plan. IT is overall responsible to maintain a healthy, stable, scalable and secured IT operational environment through constant review of capacity planning for IT infrastructure and enterprise architecture.
Key Responsibilities:
The Programmer will report to Sr. Programmer, Information Technology (IT) and will be responsible for developing software applications and performing development work such as coding, testing, debugging, updating and maintaining software applications, including web-based applications, writing database scripts, developing reports and providing software support across the organization.
The position Programmer will be responsible for following duties and responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement web-based applications using Laravel and MSSQL Server; Develop responsive, dynamic, and user-friendly frontend interfaces using Vue.js and/or React.js; Design and maintain efficient database structures, including stored procedures, Complex SQL Scripts, triggers, and data relationships in Microsoft SQL Server; Design and implement optimized database structures and efficient query handling to support high transaction volumes; Apply caching mechanisms, asynchronous processing, and API throttling techniques to ensure system stability under heavy load; Conduct load testing and performance tuning to identify and resolve bottlenecks. Integrate application components through secure RESTful APIs and ensure smooth data flow between modules; Collaborate with other developers, QA engineers, and business analysts to define technical requirements and translate them into functional software; Ensure the performance, scalability, and security of the developed modules; Participate in code reviews, testing, bug fixing, and documentation of all development activities; Provide support during UAT (User Acceptance Testing), deployment, and post-implementation phases; Maintain version control using Git and follow best practices in coding and software configuration management; Prepare training material and conduct training to users on usage of software and associated devices in order to smooth functioning of the developed software application; Provide continuous support for user queries in order to ensure smooth operation and continual improvement of the software application.Required qualification and experience:
Bachelorโs degree in Computer Science/ Computer Science & Engineering or any relevant subject. Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in software development with demonstrated success in at least 3โ5 completed projects (preferably in HR systems). Proven expertise in: Laravel Framework Microsoft SQL Server js and/or React.js HTML5, CSS3, Tailwind CSS/Bootstrap, JavaScript (ES6+) Experience with: REST API development and integration Version control (Git/GitHub/GitLab) Authentication & authorization (JWT/OAuth2) Server-side deployment (Windows/Linux environment) Good understanding of software architecture and design patterns (MVC, API-first). Familiar with Agile/Scrum-based development workflow. Knowledge of HR Systems will be an added advantage. Knowledge of Android app development will be an added advantage.Location: Mohakhali Campus, Dhaka

Contract Type and duration:
Short Term Contractual Service Agreement (CSA) basis; duration will be 11 months with a possibility of extension subject to availability of funds and performance.Salary & benefits:
Tk.79,569/-(consolidated) per month inclusive of house rent and conveyance allowances. Festival allowance, income tax paid by icddr, b and subsidized canteen. Transport and Daycare facilities are subject to space availability.Notes of attention:
