  CONTEXTO ORGANIZATIVO Y FINALIDAD DEL PUESTO:
  El Programa Mundial de Alimentos (WFP, por sus siglas en inglés) es la organización humanitaria líder que salva vidas y cambia vidas, brindando asistencia alimentaria en emergencias y trabajando con las comunidades para mejorar la nutrición y crear resiliencia, asistiendo cada año a más de 100 millones de personas en 88 países.
  El PMA en El Salvador está implementando su Plan Estratégico de País (CSP) 2022–2027, el cual enfatiza el fortalecimiento de las capacidades nacionales, la mejora de los sistemas alimentarios y el incremento de la resiliencia. El trabajo de PMA se enfoca en hogares vulnerables a través de la protección social con amplio enfoque en nutrición, incluyendo la alimentación escolar, apoyo a pequeños productores en acceso a mercados, aumentar la resiliencia ante el cambio climático en poblaciones vulnerables y dar respuesta en situación de emergencias de lento y rápido desarrollo.
  La persona titular deberá poder trabajar con un alto grado de independencia, deberá dar muestras de responsabilidad y de iniciativa para responder autónomamente a consultas diversas, disponiendo solo de orientaciones de orden general. Se requiere que haga uso de buen criterio frente a los problemas operacionales imprevistos que puedan surgir a diario. Supervisara personal más junior para asegurar que los objetivos del pilar se cumplan. Esta posición reporta al Jefe de Programas.
  RESPONSABILIDADES PRINCIPALES (lista indicativa y no exhaustiva)
  1. Asesoría Estratégica
  Brindar asesoramiento estratégico sobre la integración y vinculación de actividades del programa para mejorar la coherencia y el impacto.
  2. Planificación y Monitoreo del Programa
  a. Apoyar a la Oficina del País (SO) y a los responsables de actividades en el desarrollo y seguimiento de metas y objetivos del programa.
  b. Garantizar el seguimiento del progreso y realizar ajustes oportunos para cumplir con las metas.
  3. Coordinación con las Partes Interesadas
  Coordinar las discusiones relacionadas con el programa con contrapartes gubernamentales y otros actores clave para fomentar la colaboración y la alineación.
  4. Habilitación del Programa
  Supervisar la implementación de los habilitadores del programa, incluyendo:
  a. Transferencias Basadas en Efectivo (CBT)
  b. Gestión Integrada de Datos (IDM)
  c. Participación con Socios Cooperantes
  5. Otros según sea requerido.
  
  CUALIFICACIONES REQUERIDAS:
  Educación:
  Título universitario en ciencias sociales, administración de empresas, políticas públicas, relaciones internacionales, desarrollo/gestión de proyectos o áreas afines.
  Competencias:
  • Capacidad para brindar asesoramiento estratégico de alto nivel.
  • Excelentes habilidades de coordinación y comunicación.
  Experiencia:
  • Mínimo de 7 años de experiencia laboral en sectores de desarrollo y humanitario.
  • Experiencia comprobada en Monitoreo y Evaluación (M&E).
  • Sólida experiencia en planificación estratégica y participación de las partes interesadas.
  • Experiencia comprobada en la ejecución y el diseño de programas.
  Idiomas: Dominio Avanzado, hablado y escrito, del español. Deseable dominio Avanzado, hablado y escrito, del inglés (Nivel C)
