CONTEXTO ORGANIZATIVO Y FINALIDAD DEL PUESTO:
El Programa Mundial de Alimentos (WFP, por sus siglas en inglรฉs) es la organizaciรณn humanitaria lรญder que salva vidas y cambia vidas, brindando asistencia alimentaria en emergencias y trabajando con las comunidades para mejorar la nutriciรณn y crear resiliencia, asistiendo cada aรฑo a mรกs de 100 millones de personas en 88 paรญses.
El PMA en El Salvador estรก implementando su Plan Estratรฉgico de Paรญs (CSP) 2022โ2027, el cual enfatiza el fortalecimiento de las capacidades nacionales, la mejora de los sistemas alimentarios y el incremento de la resiliencia. El trabajo de PMA se enfoca en hogares vulnerables a travรฉs de la protecciรณn social con amplio enfoque en nutriciรณn, incluyendo la alimentaciรณn escolar, apoyo a pequeรฑos productores en acceso a mercados, aumentar la resiliencia ante el cambio climรกtico en poblaciones vulnerables y dar respuesta en situaciรณn de emergencias de lento y rรกpido desarrollo.
La persona titular deberรก poder trabajar con un alto grado de independencia, deberรก dar muestras de responsabilidad y de iniciativa para responder autรณnomamente a consultas diversas, disponiendo solo de orientaciones de orden general. Se requiere que haga uso de buen criterio frente a los problemas operacionales imprevistos que puedan surgir a diario. Supervisara personal mรกs junior para asegurar que los objetivos del pilar se cumplan. Esta posiciรณn reporta al Jefe de Programas.
RESPONSABILIDADES PRINCIPALES (lista indicativa y no exhaustiva)
1. Asesorรญa Estratรฉgica
Brindar asesoramiento estratรฉgico sobre la integraciรณn y vinculaciรณn de actividades del programa para mejorar la coherencia y el impacto.
2. Planificaciรณn y Monitoreo del Programa
a. Apoyar a la Oficina del Paรญs (SO) y a los responsables de actividades en el desarrollo y seguimiento de metas y objetivos del programa.
b. Garantizar el seguimiento del progreso y realizar ajustes oportunos para cumplir con las metas.
3. Coordinaciรณn con las Partes Interesadas
Coordinar las discusiones relacionadas con el programa con contrapartes gubernamentales y otros actores clave para fomentar la colaboraciรณn y la alineaciรณn.
4. Habilitaciรณn del Programa
Supervisar la implementaciรณn de los habilitadores del programa, incluyendo:
a. Transferencias Basadas en Efectivo (CBT)
b. Gestiรณn Integrada de Datos (IDM)
c. Participaciรณn con Socios Cooperantes
5. Otros segรบn sea requerido.
CUALIFICACIONES REQUERIDAS:
Educaciรณn:
Tรญtulo universitario en ciencias sociales, administraciรณn de empresas, polรญticas pรบblicas, relaciones internacionales, desarrollo/gestiรณn de proyectos o รกreas afines.
Competencias:
โข Capacidad para brindar asesoramiento estratรฉgico de alto nivel.
โข Excelentes habilidades de coordinaciรณn y comunicaciรณn.
Experiencia:
โข Mรญnimo de 7 aรฑos de experiencia laboral en sectores de desarrollo y humanitario.
โข Experiencia comprobada en Monitoreo y Evaluaciรณn (M&E).
โข Sรณlida experiencia en planificaciรณn estratรฉgica y participaciรณn de las partes interesadas.
โข Experiencia comprobada en la ejecuciรณn y el diseรฑo de programas.
Idiomas: Dominio Avanzado, hablado y escrito, del espaรฑol. Deseable dominio Avanzado, hablado y escrito, del inglรฉs (Nivel C)
