Save the Children is forming a six-member Response and Recovery Team to support communities in Shefa Province affected by the 17 December earthquake through education, cash and voucher assistance, child protection, and psychosocial support. As the Procurement Officer, you will be responsible for planning, managing, implementing and monitoring the daily activities of the procurement function. A key component of the role is to ensure that the activities relating to the aftermath of the 17 December Earthquake are compliant with procurement processes, policies and procedures.
You will make an impact by:
ยท Procurement and Compliance: Act as the focal point for procurement, ensuring compliance with Save the Children policies, timely procurement planning, and adherence to value-for-money principles. Maintain up-to-date procurement trackers and documentation.
ยท Operational Oversight: Manage procurement processes, inventory, and logistics, including invoice processing and reconciliation. Support delivery of activities in alignment with plans and budgets while providing training and capacity building on procurement practices.
ยท Humanitarian and Emergency Response: Strengthen supply chain capacity for humanitarian responses, engage in emergency preparedness, and assist in response activities as required.
ยท Safety, Risk, and Child Safeguarding: Promote health, safety, and security; comply with child safeguarding policies; and uphold the highest behavioral standards to protect childrenโs rights.

You have procurement and Operation management and coordination skills, strong understanding of program implementation, excited to learn, adhere to policies & guidelines and able to work in a flexible and high achieving team.
