The CDC Eswatini: Strengthening the Organizational Capacity of the MOH opportunity aims to strengthen the governance system within the ministry in planning, coordination and the management of the HIV/TB response through provision of technical assistance in three core areas. These areas will include strengthening the leadership capacity of national program managers and assisting the MoH to ensure that the program organizational and governance structures progress in line with evolution of the HIV/TB response, the national strategic plan, the MoHโ€™s priorities, and Eswatini's health regulations. Other priorities include strengthening the MoH organizational structures to conduct targeted and coordinated resource mobilization (both domestic and international) and management of donor funds in line with local public finance requirements and statutes. Finally, the project also aims to support the MOH to foster a responsive health sector workforce that is well-coordinated, trained, and equipped through data-driven planning and enhanced performance management.

Job Summary


The Principal Investigator (PI) will provide leadership, ensure the quality of project deliverables and oversee all administrative, technical, financial and management aspects of the anticipated project. Reorting to the East and Southern Africa (ESARO) Portfolio Director, the PI will plan and direct project schedules and monitor budget/spending from initiation through delivery. The PI will select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

This position is contingent upon donor funding to FHI 360 and will be based in Eswatini
