The Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled part time International Assignee (IA) Payroll Specialist to deliver a responsive, accurate and compliant payroll service for approximately 150 international assignees across the globe. This population includes a significant number of US payroll employees, requiring adherence to IRS legislative and reporting standards.
In this role, youโll work closely with teams across People & Culture, Finance, Treasury, and external providers to ensure payroll is processed accurately, on time and in accordance with global compliance requirements.
About You
Payroll qualification / CIPP membership Strong numeracy, accuracy and attention to detail Experienced in control account reconciliations Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office Strong written and verbal communication skills in English Ability to manage timeโsensitive payroll cycles under pressure Able to work independently with sound judgement
Highly Desirable
US payroll experience, ideally in ADP Experience managing international / expatriate payrolls Knowledge of US federal rules on compensation and benefits

Location: This is a part time role, working 14 hours per week (roughly 40-60 hours per month), with some flexibility needed based on payroll volume, mainly focused in the first 2 weeks of the month. This role will ideally be based in the UK, employed from the Global Hub for Plan International which is based in Woking, Surrey where we are remote working. You must have the pre-existing right to live and work
Type of role: 2 Year Fixed term contract
Salary: For candidates based in the UK the salary is circa ยฃ36,000 per annum
Level: 15. Please note that employment terms will be as per the standard terms and conditions in the country where you are based.
