The Social Marketing and Communication (SMC) department within FHI 360โs U.S. Programs is a national leader in applying a science-based approach to social marketing and communication to address public health and other challenges in the U.S. SMC currently implements a diverse portfolio of social marketing, public relations, communication, and training and technical assistance projects in the U.S. that are funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, National Institutes of Health, private associations, and foundations. In the past decade, our team has worked on issues such as diabetes, emergency and pandemic preparedness, obesity prevention, sexual health, HIV, cancer, asthma, immunizations, violence prevention, access to health care, and tobacco control and cessation. Job Summary:
The Partnership and Technical Assistance (TA) Specialist will support the Associate Project Director for Partners in maintaining national, state, and local partnerships within the Social Marketing and Communication Department, across a range of health communication projects. The Partnership and TA Specialist will primarily focus on the CDCโs Letโs Stop HIV Together campaign project, a multi-year comprehensive consumer, provider, and partner campaign in the United States. Together is an evidence-based campaign developed in English and Spanish that aims to reduce HIV stigma and promote HIV testing, prevention, and treatment. This position will support the partnership component of the campaign, providing technical assistance, evaluation, and administrative support to CDC grantees, state and local health departments, community and clinical campaign ambassadors, and other partners to expand the reach and impact of the Together campaign. The successful candidate may also contribute to other projects within SMC.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintains accurate histories, profiles, and organizational records of key partner organizations.
Provides day-to-day management of partnerships with guidance from the Partnership Director.
Performs data research on potential partnerships that align with the organizationโs strategic priorities.
Assists with developing processes and procedures for documentation and information management for partnerships.
Provides updates and communicates status of partnerships regarding risks and benefits.
Develops, writes and edits a variety of materials for diverse audiences including training materials, reports, case studies, newsletters, presentations, and content for websites and social media.
Oversees production of materials, in collaboration with FHI360โs in-house graphic design team.
Supports development of innovative ideas for communication outreach and develops communication plans.
Ensures timely implementation of communication activities and monitors project against work plans.
Contributes to business development including writing sections for proposals and supporting the submission process.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in communication and social marketing, education, gender, health, research, technology, or a related field.
Experience working in sexual health, HIV, or HIV communications strongly preferred.
Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative style of working to reach common goals and objectives.
Proven experience in providing training and technical assistance.
Strong project coordination skills.
Ability to develop and maintain partner engagement plans and databases.
Experience in organizing events, both in-person and virtual.
Familiarity with co-branding, adaptation, and localization processes.
Knowledge of Continuing Medical Education (CME) and Continuing Nursing Education (CNE) development and accreditation are a plus.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with various stakeholders.
Experience: **
5+ years of relevant experience providing technical assistance and developing partnerships.

The expected US Based hiring salary range for this role is listed below. Candidate FHI 360 pay ranges represent national averages that vary by geographic location. When determining an offer amount, FHI 360 factors in multiple considerations, including but not limited to: relevant years of experience and education possessed by the applicant, internal equity, business sector, and budget.
Base salary is only one component of our offer. FHI 360 contributes 12% of monthly base pay to a money purchase pension plan account. Additionally, all US based staff working full-time, which is calculated at 40 hours/week, receive 18 days of paid vacation per year, 12 sick days per year, and 11 holidays per year. Paid time off is reduced pro rata for employees working less than a full-time schedule.
US Based Hiring Salary Range: $85,000 - $105,000
International hiring ranges will differ based on location.
