    Organizational Setting and Reporting Relationship

    The position of Operations Analyst is assigned to the Guarantees and Syndications Unit of the Office of the Director General (OPSD-GSU) within the Private Sector Operations Department (PSOD). You will be based at our Headquarters in Manila, Philippines.

    You will report to the designated Technical International Staff and Technical Local Staff.

    Your Role

    As an Operations Analyst, you will provide technical and operational support in the processing and documentation of non-disclosure agreements, risk transfer documents, premium payments. You will also oversee records and databases, support budget management, perform initial integrity due diligence on commercial cofinanciers, and help prepare bi-weekly market reports.

    You will:

    a. Monitoring and Administration of Commercial Cofinancing Portfolio

  • Process non-disclosure agreements and premium payments, prepare risk transfer documents, and maintain counterparty limits.
Record, monitor and prepare reports. Support the preparation and sharing of information on commercial cofinancing and guarantees; maintain cofinancing sections in the ADB website; and prepare commercial cofinancing information for clients. Contribute to the processing and administration of projects. Help review cofinancing agreements. Collect, update, complete and monitor project files; help in submitting project reports to cofinanciers; and respond to queries upon clearance by supervisors.

b. Cofinancing Information and Database Management

Help gather relevant information for analyzing cofinancing transactions. Support in administering GSU database. Manage commercial cofinancing project files. Perform initial integrity due diligence on commercial cofinanciers.

c. Consultant Recruitment

Perform recruitment of consultants including preparing terms of reference, selection, variation, and closing of contracts.

d. Coordination and Logistics Support

Contribute in preparing presentation materials. Coordinate and monitor the submission of reports on cofinanced projects. Gather and research information for newsletters. Coordinate and monitor GSU's budget.

e. System Requirements and Coordination

Contribute to the enhancement and implementation of systems and procedures, and administration of computer application systems. Coordinate with other departments in testing and implementing new systems and required updates.

Qualifications

You will need:

Bachelor's degree preferably in business, finance, accounting, marketing or other related areas At least 5 years' work experience preferably with experience in private sector operations To undertake research and analysis, collect, organize, analyze and develop data using computer skills; and prepare notes, papers and sections of reports Good analytical thinking with the ability to make simple causal links, pro-and-con lists and analyses to reach a decision; and set priorities for tasks in order of importance. To work collaboratively in teams and with individuals from different cultural backgrounds Ability to work with teams as a constructive team member. Proficiency in English to compose and edit memos, presentation materials and other documents and coordinate with internal and external clients.
