Marketing & Mobilization (M&M) is a dynamic team that is tasked with building the IRCโ€™s global profile and brand, growing private revenue from deeper donor engagement and partnerships, and influencing our target audiences. We are responsible for all of IRC's brand, communications, creative and content and digital engagement efforts.

Job Overview/Job Summary

The Global Partnership Communications team is part of the Marketing & Mobilization (M&M) department. The team supports and highlights the IRCโ€™s high value donors and partnerships with the corporate and philanthropic sectors.

Working in collaboration with teams across the organization, this role supports the Associate Director to develop and draft external-facing communication with corporate and philanthropic partners to raise brand recognition, engage donor audiences, spotlight sector-leading solutions and innovations, facilitate fundraising through cause marketing and other campaigns, and meet donor visibility requirements.

This position works closely with the global Corporate and Foundations & Trusts partnerships teams to support forward-looking and purposeful communications strategies targeting key audiences and markets.

Work alongside our Corporate and Foundations & Trusts teams to support grant visibility requirements and proactive profile-building opportunities. Help prepare partner visibility materials including case studies, social posts, blogs, and press content Support the development of ideas and strategies to expand external visibility opportunities, thought leadership, cause marketing, and activations with top priority partners defined in collaboration with the Associate Director and partner leads. Support the execution of external engagement strategies around campaigns and key moments with partners, including digital activations, earned and paid media, flagship events, etc. Support thought leadership and executive communications strategy with partners to elevate cross-sector solutions and commitments to the worldโ€™s most pressing humanitarian challenges. Collaborate closely with, seek input from, and manage opportunities with a wide range of internal stakeholders, including HQ and Market Communications leads, Experiential Marketing, Entertainment Relations, Corporates and Foundations & Trusts, Digital Engagement, Brand, Creative Studio, Technical Excellence, Funding Impact, and other teams. Under the guidance of the Associate Director, identify and grow key media targets beyond the policy / humanitarian sectors and help to build our profile with new audiences and international markets. Collaborate with the Digital Engagement team to leverage social channels for innovative partner storytelling, amplification, and joint campaigns, integrating new formats to reach global audiences Ensure that existing partnership materials are kept up to date โ€“ such as messaging documents, decks, media lists, and others โ€“ and help to the development of messaging, project management systems and processes, strategy planning documents, etc. Collaborate on the development and implementation of processes and tools to support the operations of Global Partnership Communications, including but not limited to monitoring and tracking performance, surveying partners to gather information for decision-making, and related activities. Contribute to quarterly reports on coverage, engagement, and performance using industry standard metrics and benchmarking. Track, and report on KPIs, ensuring activities align with IRCโ€™s strategic objectives and demonstrate value for our partners. Manage and carry out administrative processes related to different projects and partnerships, including but not limited to due diligence, grant proposal and agreements, procurement, etc. Manage additional special projects across the Global Partnership Communications team based on strategic needs of the team.

Key Working Relationships:

Position reports to: Associate Director, Global Partnership Communications Position directly supervises: n/a Indirect Reporting: n/a Internal: Work with global External Relations colleagues, writers, content producers, digital team members, IRC advocates and fundraisers. External: partner focal points, journalists, IRC Ambassadors and others.

Job Requirements:

Bachelorโ€™s degree or equivalent 5+ years in communications in the private or NGO sectors, especially working with philanthropic partners. Genuine passion about the IRCโ€™s work and leading 360-degree communications activations. 5+ years in communications in the private or NGO sectors, especially working with philanthropic partners. Strong understating of media landscape and comfort with pitching stories and writing statements, quotes, etc. A generalist who thinks about communications across channels (video, digital, social, media, cause marketing and events) and is able to connect the dots! Experience with events and activations to build profile and visibility. Experience leading complex projects from start to finish. Experience handling external relationships, such as with customers, clients, media, or donors. Experience with cause marketing preferred. Experience working with high value donors preferred, bonus for experience working in the donor landscape in the US, UK, EU and other key markets for the IRC. Proven ability to adapt communications strategies across diverse cultural and international contexts. A planner and executer. Someone who has a consistent record of project management, taking initiative and driving implementation. Self-starter comfortable working with remote, global teams and in ambiguity.

Working Environment:

Hybrid working environment with the option of working from home a few days a week.

Compensation: Posted pay ranges apply to U.S.-based candidates. Ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, internal equity, and budget. Exact offers are calibrated by work location, individual candidate experience and skills relative to the defined job requirements.

Uk Pay Range: ยฃ45K - ยฃ52K Atlanta, GA Pay Range: $65K - $69K Denver, CO Pay Range: $65K - $69K
