The Position:
Under the supervision and the guidance of the Assistant Representative the Field Project Coordination Associate will work in close collaboration with a range of staff in the country office, external partners, and agency counterparts in support of programme delivery. S/He provides regular feedback on the status of projects through monitoring milestones, triangulating information and reports from implementing partners, ensuring quality and accountability of the projectsโ implementation, and advising on improvements as well as adaptation to keep activities on track.

Job Purpose:
You would be responsible for:
Conducting programme monitoring in the focus districts for cash, kit distribution, mobile outreach clinics, GBV safety verifications and other emergency response activities ย and informing team members of the status;ย Conduct spot checks and basic compliance monitoring of partner activities, including review of attendance lists, distribution records, CVA processes, and outreach documentation. Support capacity development activities related to programme development by preparing training materials and participating in exercises. Assist in training local partners and staff on programme procedures, monitoring tools, and reporting standards. Coordinate with Implementing Partners and other government and non government counterparts on progress and follow up on efficient implementation of planned activities.ย Prepare and conduct monitoring visits and triangulate information and reports from implementing partners, and consequently ensure the quality and accountability of the projectsโ implementation. During the field visits, organize coordination meetings with community leaders, government officials, and other stakeholders. Prepare monitoring and reporting information for supervisor and team on agreed performance indicators to drive more efficient management and accountability for results; Support the field-level implementation of UNFPA humanitarian interventions, including SRH and GBV response activities, in cyclone-affected districts. Support district and divisional-level coordination by liaising with Divisional Secretariats, District Secretariats, health authorities, line ministries, and other relevant stakeholders. Participate in district, divisional, and sector/disaster coordination meetings, and provide timely updates and recommendations to the Country Office. Support the planning and facilitation of field missions, assessments, distributions, and community consultations, including Focus Group Discussions (FGDs). Assist in rapid needs assessments and post-distribution monitoring (PDM) to inform programme adjustments and future humanitarian interventions. Support Accountability to Affected Populations (AAP) by observing feedback and complaints mechanisms during field activities and reporting community feedback and concerns. Document lessons learned, good practices, and implementation challenges from the field to inform learning and adaptive programming. Share weekly advance programme in advance ย and provide regular written and verbal updates to the Humanitarian Programme Team on field implementation status.ย
Qualifications and Experience:ย
Education:ย ย
Successful completion of Secondary Level Education (G.C.E. Advanced Level or High School Diploma) with six years of relevant experience, or A Bachelorโs degree in development studies, humanitarian affairs, international relations or other relevant subjects with three years experience.ยย
Knowledge and Experience:ย
Strong experience in humanitarian or development program implementation at national or field level is required, i.e., six years experience with G.C.E. Advanced Level or High School Diploma, Or, three years experience with a Bachelor's Degree Knowledge of project administration, programme/project operations, monitoring and evaluation processes are an asset. Strong organizational, planning and prioritizing skills and abilities High sense of confidentiality, initiative and good judgment Ability to work effectively with people of different national and cultural backgrounds High attention to detail Good analytical and report writing skillsย
