About IRRI The International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) is dedicated to reducing poverty and hunger through rice science; improving the health and welfare of rice farmers and consumers; and protecting the rice-growing environment for future generations. Working with in-country partners, IRRI develops advanced rice varieties that yield more grain and better withstand pests and disease as well as flooding, drought, and other harmful effects of climate change.
Job Purpose

This position will be based at the IRRI Headquarters, Los Baรฑos, Philippines, and may only be filled by permanent citizens of the Philippines.

This role will be responsible for supporting the development and delivery of online courses and capacity development programs at IRRI. The role includes designing and implementing interactive multimedia and graphic design solutions using appropriate tools and software to ensure high-quality course content and an enhanced learning experience.

Roles and Responsibilities
Good computer and ICT skills Have visual design skills and knowledge of using a wide range of authoring tools for videos, images, and interactive content. (Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate) Strong self-motivation and self-management

Preferred

At least 3 years of experience in IT design and digital multimedia formats. Has experience in developing and delivering online courses Has good experience in knowledge management (LMS and CMS) solutions and platforms Has worked in Agriculture Education domain Ability to constructively identify and discuss potential project challenges
