Purpose of Job
Step into the frontline of cyber defense. Weโre looking for a Platform Engineer - Network Security to design, implement, and safeguard next-generation security platforms across firewalls, WAFs, SASE, SSL VPNs, NAC, PKI, and beyond. Youโll work hands-on with Check Point, Palo Alto, Cisco, and Microsoft Azure, building robust defenses that span from perimeter protection to cloud security, zero-trust segmentation, and global load balancing.
Accountabilities & Responsibilities
Technology experience in this area includes but is not limited to:
Perimeter Security, including firewalls, intrusion detection/ prevention (IDS/IPS), anti-malware and threat prevention (Check Point, Palo Alto Networks and Cisco).
Cloud network security (Check Point and Microsoft Azure).
Web Application Firewalls (WAFs) โ SaaS / on Prem / Azure.
SSL VPNs.
Secure Access Service Edge (SASE).
Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Qualifications
Experience:
Designing, Implementing and Supporting Next Generation Firewalls, Web Application Firewalls and Secure Web Gateways.
Working with Managed Service Providers and Professional Service Partners
Intermediate to advanced technology certification in the given area such as the PAN Generalist and Specialist qualifications
Entry level service management certification such a ITIL Foundation.
