ย Context
IOM Ireland has been operating in Ireland since 2001, currently in following areas of migration management: Assisted Voluntary Return and Reintegration, Resettlement, Family Reunification, Counter-Trafficking, Protection, Integration Support to Beneficiaries of Temporary Protection, Integrated Immigration Governance and Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS).
ย IOM provides mental health and psychosocial support to international protection seekers residing in the Citywest accommodation facility with the aim to improve their psychosocial well-being and to strengthen their overall resilience.ย
Under the overall supervision of the Chief of Mission in Ireland, the Head of MHPSS Unit, the Senior MHPSS and Case Management Associate, in collaboration with the Senior Cultural Mediation and Community Engagement Associate, and in direct supervision of the Senior Case Management Associate, the incumbent will support the operations of the established Infoline related to IOM MHPSS services in Ireland.
- Receive calls from beneficiaries, record them and channel relevant queries to project coordinators in line with the internal Infoline SOPs.
- Compile, summarize and present the necessary information for the team and for internal reports.
- Draft status reports to assist in the implementation of the project.
- Support the administrative requirements of the project, to maintain the day-to-day activities and operations on the ground in line with the project SOPs.
- Provide routine support with M&E requirements of existing projects and preparation of simple outputs for project documents where required.
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned. Education
- Bachelorโs degree in Political or Social Sciences, Development, Law and/or International Relations or similar from an accredited academic institution with two years of relevant professional experience; or
- High school diploma with four years of relevant professional experience.Accredited Universities are those listed in the UNESCO World Higher Education Database.ย Experience
- Proven experience in a similar setting & capacity. Demonstrated ability to maintain accuracy & confidentiality in performing responsibilities.
- Previous work experience in an international organization, non-governmental organisation would be an advantage.Skills
