Programme for Emerging Infections is implementing a Social Enterprise Model (SEM) through TB Screening & Treatment Centers (TBSTC) to enhance TB diagnosis, treatment and prevention services in Dhaka and Chattogram metropolitan areas. This project is supported by GFATM through the National Tuberculosis Control Programme.
The Monitoring & Evaluation Officer will report to the Senior Research Investigator and will be mainly responsible for performing following duties and responsibilities:
Ensure monitoring and evaluation of project activities; Supervise team and network with physicians to secure TBSTC outcomes; Carry out project activities as per the work plan and liaise with implementing partners in TB; Ensure data management and record keeping; Analyse data and generate reports as per program requirements; Guide and oversee TB treatment as per national guidelines; Track appropriate patient management and ensure treatment adherence.Required qualification and experience:
MBBS degree from a Medical College recognized by Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BMDC); Short course on topics related to Tuberculosis, or, monitoring & evaluation will be an advantage; 3 years of experience in the domain of public health/TB programme, preferably in monitoring and evaluation.Location: Chottogram

Contract Type and Duration:
Fixed Term; duration will be 1 year with a possibility of extension subject to performance.Salary & benefits:
Annual Tk. 754,740/- inclusive of house rent, conveyance, and other admissible benefits; 14.8% provident fund contribution, income tax paid by icddr,b, children allowance @Tk.1,917/- per child per month, festival bonus, contributory healthcare support including dependent spouse and children, group life insurance, and subsidized canteen.
