Programme Development:
Contribute to situation analysis, identification of needs and participate actively in developing livelihoods and food security strategy in line with NRC Global Ambitions and Hallmarks. Lead design and conducting of quality technical and needs assessments working with LFS Specialist & MEAL and timely submission of quality reports.Project Management:
Responsible for preparation and timely delivery of detailed projects implementation, procurement and budget spending plans whilst ensuring that off targets are timely identified and mitigated. Ensure that there is a quality partnership assessment, partnership plan and relevant MoUs and other support documentation and resources in place to work with local partners.Capacity building:
Identify learning and training opportunities for staff and partners and work as a mentor and role model for less experienced staff.ย Provide necessary technical training and develop appropriate technical guidelines and materials to NRCโs and partnerโs staff.Representation, coordination and Advocacy:
Responsible for developing and maintain collaborative and effective partnership with NGOs/CBOs and government partners. Ensure effective stakeholder participation throughout the project implementation.ย

What you will bring
Generic professional competencies for this position:
Bachelor degree in Social Sciences, Development studies, Rural Development, Livelihoods, Economics and/or related discipline. Minimum 5 years of experience from working as a Manager in a humanitarian setting managing Livelihoods programming. Proven Experience in GFD and cash programming. Experience in the livelihood assessments, both field data collection and analysis. Previous experience from working in complex and volatile contexts Traceable experience in working local CSOs in areas of identification supervision, sub-granting and capacity building Good experience in managing multi-million dollarsโ multiple projects in a challenging environment.ย Strong ability to work with diverse groups/individuals โ ranging from local partners, local authorities, humanitarian community and the private sector Proven ability in staff, donor contract & budget management Knowledge about own leadership skills/profile Fluency in English, both written and verbal; as well as excellent report writing skillsContext/skills, knowledge and experience:
