Mission and objectivesERONet (Enabling Rural Opportunity Network) is a grassroots organization based in Lamwo District, Northern Uganda, supporting rural women and girls, refugee populations, and post-conflict communities. Since 2001, ERONet has evolved from Agoro Community Development Association (ACDA), an informal IDP support group into a legally registered CBO with a mission to tackle gender inequality, economic hardship, and social exclusion.
ContextERONet has been operating in Lamwo and other districts since 2001, focusing on empowering rural communitiesโespecially women and girlsโthrough education, economic empowerment, water and sanitation (WASH), and environmental conservation. As the organization grows and scales its work, it is essential to establish clear working relationships with district authorities. The volunteer will work closely with the ERONet leadership team to understand the local context and draft a standard MoU that can be adapted for each district.
Task DescriptionEnabling Rural Opportunity Network (ERONet) is seeking a skilled Online Volunteer to support the drafting of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between our organization and the districts in Northern Uganda where we operate. This MoU will formalize partnerships with local governments to ensure effective coordination, accountability, and mutual understanding in program implementation.
