We are looking for a Corporate Website Coordinator consultant to join our communications team and manage the Website Ecosystem of the IDB. The Website Ecosystem is composed of the IDB institutional website and websites about third parties, organized under a governance that determines management processes and accountability of the different teams that provide input and maintenance: Communications (KIC/DCC), Technology (ITE), Analytics (KIC/ISU) among others.

As the Corporate Website Coordinator of The IDB Website Ecosystem, your main duty will be to guard and evolve the vision of this digital channel to guarantee its relevance, integrity, positioning, and security. You will coordinate processes around content creation and update, to maintain the website current and appealing to the Bank's audiences, following the Bank's regulations and specifically the Website Ecosystem Governance.

You will be a trusted advisor to our communicators and client relations leads regarding content management, providing recommendations to generate content in a way that maximizes brand positioning and supports the institutional strategy of the Bank, always in alignment with the industry鈥檚 best practices. You will be the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates, gathering feedback, and addressing concerns.

The Corporate Website Coordinator will report to the Chief of the Communications Division.

What you鈥檒l do:

This role, which is essential for the Bank鈥檚 Website Ecosystem management, will perform the following duties:

Work in alignment with the Communications Chief to constantly evolve the value proposition of the Website to our external audiences. Make sure the ecosystem maintains coherence and effectiveness when communicating the strategic messages of the organization and its brand values while staying relevant and well-positioned in the key topics related to our work.

Responsible to ensure that the IDB website ecosystem vision is implemented and maintained across day-to-day requests, following the Website Ecosystem Governance and Website Ecosystem Project documentation.

Responsible to foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging feedback with communicators and Client Relations leads, conducting retrospectives, and applying lessons learned.

Responsible for maintaining and updating the digital governance processes, teams, and tickets.

Responsible for addressing tickets received through the digitalized governance process, coordinating with the website team requested changes to existing pages, applying changes to metadata, and creating new pages and websites, among others:

o Coordinate content updates with the communicator responsible for the section/page.

o Coordinate, through the ITE business partner, all aspects related to technology and security processes.

o Participate in the Product Review and Accreditation (PRAC) process related to websites to guarantee compliance with the guidelines and policies from KIC.

o Create and maintain communication channels between the departments, communicators, the ITE department, and the different parties involved in the resolution of the requests.

o Manage the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) procedure with the department after the request is realized.

o Ensure that the departments have access to the IDB鈥檚 design, branding, and technical guidelines to minimize the creation of stand-alone pages/subsites.

o Responsible for coordinating troubleshooting of the website with the support team: validate issue description and manage the UAT procedure with the client, and communicator after fixing the problem.

o Responsible for advising departments in business case analysis for new Websites, tools, and development requests.

Responsible for contract management related to Content Edition and SEO strategy implementation, as well as, coordinating with Client Relations Leads when costs associated with new websites or landings arise associated with the business units they manage, including but not limited to requesting from them financial information for current and future costs, detailing the nature of expenses, among others innate with the front office to process the charge.

In coordination with the Information Services Unit, assess the performance and effectiveness of the Website Ecosystem through analytics and key indicators, to identify areas for improvement, validate hypotheses on user experience, and make data-driven decisions for future enhancements.

Work together with the SEO specialists, content editors, web analytics specialists, and web support providers, to improve the organic positioning strategy in search engines.

Coordinate code changes and integrations that might be needed with ITE, understanding how the websites interact with other systems/areas within the Bank.

In coordination with other areas within KIC, develop and support enforcement of metadata and taxonomy management within the Website Ecosystem.

What you'll need

Education: Bachelor鈥檚 degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Business, Marketing, Communication). Proficiency in web-based skills like content management, UX design, and content development. Knowledge about user-centered design methodologies is preferable.

Experience: At least four years of experience participating in complex projects as a Corporate Website Coordinator, managing multiple streams of work, negotiating with multiple stakeholders, and leading on/off Web development. Experience with marketing and communications campaigns is a plus.

Languages: Proficiency in Spanish and English, spoken and written, is required. Additional knowledge of French and Portuguese is preferable.
