IFC ongoing advisory program includes our support in building an enable environment for business, promote Green Finance, and creating suitable framework to support Public-Private Partnership (PPP) transaction.
ContextIFC Vientiane is looking for a UN Youth Volunteer to perform a role of investment analyst to support business development efforts to boost its investment program in the country. The Investment Analyst will work under supervision of Head of Office and in close coordination with industry colleagues from regional offices, especially within Mekong Region. Overall assignment is to identify and assess potential opportunities for IFC investment in relevant economic sectors, with focus on manufacturing, renewable energy and transport infrastructure.
Task DescriptionUnder the direct supervision of Head of Office, who oversees all operations of IFC in Laos, the UN Volunteer will undertake the following tasks: โข Supporting investment team to identify investment opportunities โข Analyzing financial statements, creating financial models, reviewing due diligence reports, and conducting industry, market, and company research โข Assisting in preparation of plan and strategy documents and presentations โข Assisting in providing timely delivery of information to investment clients and preparing marketing and other communication materials.
