How can you make a difference?ย 

Scope of Work:

The consultant will use cutting edge photographic and video equipment to perform the following tasks:

โ€ข Produce high quality photos, including field and studio photography to support programme interventions and beneficiariesโ€™ stories. A minimum of 25 high quality photos must be delivered per day, according to UNICEF specifications and guidelines

โ€ข Produce captions (that tell the story of each photo) and filenames of each photo taken, according to UNICEF specifications and guidelines

โ€ข Produce photo essays/storytelling โ€“ These include field missions where the consultant needs to travel to a community and produce a visual appealing storytelling photo essay to document key programmes achievements, field stories that highlight UNICEF and donor interventions, stories for fundraising. The stories must always be written in both English and Portuguese language.

โ€ข Video recording in 16:9 HD 1080. The optimal standards are: 1080 25p; 1080 29.97p or 30p

โ€ข Video editing (with subtitles, sign language and other requirements) following UNICEF specifications and guidelines

โ€ข B-roll selects and shot list according to UNICEF guidelines

โ€ข Animations (stop motion, cut out motion, 3D, and others)

โ€ข Professional sound editing

โ€ข Production of transcripts and storyboards (as requested per project)

โ€ข Production of subtitles, according to UNICEF specifications, including names, locations, projects.

โ€ข Provide unedited raw footage if requested

โ€ข Production of TV and music spots

โ€ข Production of longitudinal video storytelling and documentaries

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will haveโ€ฆย 

Minimum requirements:

Education:ย Experience is most valuable, a minimum of 5 years is required

Knowledge/Expertise/Skills required:

Demonstrated knowledge in video shooting and editing

Specialized knowledge in photography and editing for standard, print and online media

Good understanding of childrenโ€™s rights issues and ethical reporting, and UNICEF branding guidelines

Good communication and writing skills (both in English and Portuguese)
