About the Pathways to Protection (P2P) Programmeย The Pathways to Protection (P2P) Consortium, led by the Danish\nRefugee Council (DRC) in collaboration with the Danish Red Cross (Danish RC)\nand the International Detention Coalition (IDC), seeks to strengthen protection\nservices and policy frameworks for migrants along the Mediterranean migration\nroutes. This five-year initiative, funded by the DANIDA, focuses on delivering\nrights-based services, building local capacity, and promoting sustainable\nmigration pathways.\n\n

Role Purpose\n\n\n\n
Theย P2P\nProject Coordinator will be\nresponsible for coordinating IDC's contributions to the P2P programme across\nthe MENA region, Africa, Europe and our global advocacy engagement. This role\nfocuses on programme management, monitoring and evaluation (MEL), relationship\nbuilding and policy advocacy, and will serve as a key IDC representative to the\nP2P Consortium Management Unit based in Tunis. The Project Coordinator will\nensure IDC's expertise in migrant protection, safe migration pathways, and ATD\neffectively contributes to the programme.\n\n\n\n
Role Summary\n\n\n\n
The P2P Project Coordinator will lead and coordinate IDC's\ncontributions to theย Pathways to\nProtection (P2P) Consortium, ensuring effective implementation of IDC's\nwork across its MENA, Africa and Europe programmes and in alignment with IDC's\nglobal advocacy strategy and consortium objectives. As IDC's key operational\nrepresentative in the consortium, the Project Coordinator will focus on\nprogramme management, ensuring timely delivery of activities, effective\ncollaboration across regional and global teams, collaboration with the\nConsortium Management Unit and other consortium partners and adherence to donor\nrequirements. A core aspect of the role will be overseeing Monitoring,\nEvaluation, and Learning (MEL) processes, tracking progress against key\nindicators, and supporting reporting and knowledge-sharing efforts. In\naddition, the Project Coordinator will play a key role in advancing advocacy\npriorities within the programme, alongside IDC's Executive Director and key\nRegional Managers, ensuring that evidence and learning from the project inform\nnational, regional, and global policy discussions on migrant protection, safe pathways\nand ATD. The role requires strong programme management, MEL, and stakeholder\ncoordination skills, along with excellent relationship building and experience\nin targeted policy advocacy to effectively bridge implementation and strategic\nengagement in support of sustainable migration pathways.\n\n

Programme Coordination & Implementation\n\n

โย ย ย ย ย \nServe as a primary IDC\nrepresentative in the consortium's operational structures, facilitating\ncoordination with Consortium partners, donors, and relevant stakeholders in the\nConsortium Management Unit located in Tunis and beyond.\n\n
โย ย ย ย ย \nOversee the timely delivery\nof IDC's project activities, ensuring compliance and effective implementation\nin accordance with work plans and donor requirements.\n\n
โย ย ย ย ย \nSupport regional and global\nteams in integrating IDC's expertise on targeted advocacy for rights-based\nmigration governance within the programme.\n\n
โย ย ย ย ย \nEnsure that P2P project\ndevelopments and learnings are fully communicated to IDC's Executive Director,\nregional managers and relevant personnel.\n\n
โย ย ย ย ย \nFacilitate internal\ncollaboration across IDC teams, ensuring knowledge-sharing and synergy between\nprogramme activities and advocacy efforts.\n\n
Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL)\n\n
โย ย ย ย ย \nLead MEL efforts related to\nIDC's P2P programme contributions as part of the consortium, ensuring data\ncollection, impact tracking, and evidence-based reporting, and ensure these\nalign with IDC's overarching MEL activities.\n\n
โย ย ย ย ย \nIn collaboration with IDC's\nOperations and Development Manager, develop and manage IDC's MEL frameworks to\nassess progress against key P2P and organisational indicators.\n\n
โย ย ย ย ย \nSynthesise and communicate\nlearnings from the programme to inform strategy, improve implementation, and\ncontribute to policy discussions.\n\n
โย ย ย ย ย \nSupport donor reporting and\ncontribute to knowledge products that showcase programme results and best\npractices.\n\n
Advocacy & Stakeholder Engagement\n\n
โย ย ย ย ย \nEnsure that insights from\nthe programme implementation and initiatives inform P2P and IDC's advocacy\nefforts at national, regional, and global levels.\n\n
โย ย ย ย ย \nStrengthen relationships and\nengage with relevant government authorities, UN agencies, and civil society\npartners when required to strengthen laboration on migrant protection, safe\npathways, and ATD in close laboration with IDC Executive Director, relevant\nRegional Managers and personnel and with the Consortium Management Unit.\n\n
โย ย ย ย ย \nRepresent IDC in relevant\nconsortium meetings, policy dialogues, and external forums to advocate for\nrights-based migration pathways and ATD.\n\n
โย ย ย ย ย \nWork with IDC's regional and\nglobal teams and with Consortium partners to identify and pursue opportunities\nfor policy influence within the framework of the programme.\n\n
โย ย ย ย ย \nDevelop and contribute to\npolicy briefs, reports, and strategic recommendations.\n\n
Partnerships & Resource Mobilisation\n\n
โย ย ย ย ย \nCultivate and maintain\nrelationships with key consortium partners in the Consortium Management Unit\nand beyond, donors, relevant authorities and other stakeholders to enhance\ncollaboration and sustainability.\n\n
โย ย ย ย ย \nIdentify opportunities for\nfuture funding and programme development in alignment with IDC's strategic\npriorities and in coordination with relevant IDC personnel and others as\nrequired.\n\n
โย ย ย ย ย \nWork with IDC and P2P\ncommunications and development personnel to ensure project developments and\noutcomes are duly communicated, and support relevant fundraising and\ndevelopment initiatives.\n\n

Qualifications\n\n\n\n
Essential:\n\n
โย ย ย ย ย At\nleast 4 years ofย programme management\nexperience in multi-country or regional programmes, preferably in the areas of\nmigration, human rights, or protection.\n\n
โย ย ย ย ย Demonstrated\nexperience in designing and implementingย monitoring,\nevaluation, and learning (MEL) frameworks, tracking programme impact, and\nproducing evidence-based reports.\n\n
โย ย ย ย ย Experience\ninย advocacy and stakeholder engagement\nwith government authorities, civil society, and international organisations to\ninfluence migration or human rights policies.\n\n
